Local Sports Pitch Grants

In recent years, hundreds of local sports clubs have benefited from the grant support schemes provided through the cooperation of the Government’s Football Foundation, Sport England, the Premier League, the FA, RFL, RFU, ECB and the National Lottery.

These grants are usually for 75% of a value up to £50,000, and can include investment in essential grounds maintenance equipment such as tractors, mowers, aerators, pitch groomers etc.  They are administered through the Grounds Management Association’s Pitch Advisory Service, and clubs may also apply for further grants in subsequent years, subject to conditions.
